October Hulunbuir Self-driving 5 days: a pit shelter strategy written by a local old driver (with cost breakdown)

Brothers, I have been driving in Hilal for 12 years. In the summer, I pulled a group from the south, and in the winter, I pulled a photography team for the snow country. Every year from the end of September to the beginning of October, my wife says that I am “sick” again – I can’t sit still, I must run to the grassland. This year, I simply took a 5-day vacation on my own. From Hailar, I walked a circle of the classic northern line. I came back and hurriedly wrote this line out to make a reference for my friends who wanted to come to the wrong peak after the National Day.

To tell you the truth:Hulunbeier in October is not the kind of beauty that is “stunning at a glance”, it is the kind of beauty that you have to sit and watch for a long time to taste.The people who come in summer see green, the people who come in winter see white, and October is yellow – golden and yellow grass, matched with occasional white birch that refuses to fall, coupled with the cold in the morning and evening that you want to wear a down jacket, the feeling of “summer has gone, winter has not yet come” is particularly delicate.

First of all, the line I walked, 5 days and 4 nights

I started from downtown Hilal and headed straight for the first stopMorigele River. Don’t go to the toll observation deck. Really, none of the guests I’ve brought don’t talk about it – 30 yuan to go up, just one earthy slope. The photos taken are no different from the ones you find casually on the side of the road. At the point where I often go, about 20 kilometers north, there is a free highland, where you can see three large turns of the Mozigle River, which is ten times better than the toll observation deck.

I went the next day.Irguna Wetland.This place is worth a ticket, 70 yuan. The wetland in October has turned yellow. The wooden boardwalk walked for about 1 and a half hours. The wind was strong, and I still felt cold with a thick jacket. The handlebar meat eaten at noon in the urban area of Erguna. I have eaten at that old shop for 8 years. The owner’s name is Batu, and the handlebar meat is 68 pounds. The sheep is a local Sunit sheep, which has no taste. Don’t eat at the door of the scenic spot, it’s expensive, go two blocks in.

Day 3 From IrgunaEunhe Russian Ethnic TownshipThis part of the road is my favorite. Both sides are full of birch forests. The leaves are fresh yellow at the beginning of October. When the sunlight comes through, it really looks like gold. As soon as I drove, I wanted to stop and take a photo, and as a result, I walked 20 kilometers and stopped 8 times, and my wife scolded me all the way. Munhe lives in a woodcut beam, 280 overnight, you can hear the chicken crowing in the morning, pushing the window is the vegetable garden and the hillside in the distance. In this season, there is heating in the house and it is not cold to sleep at night.

A few pits where I have suffered losses, and said in advance

First pit: get dressed.Don’t listen to the online saying “October Hulunbeier just wear a thin coat”, deceiving. The temperature difference is 15 degrees in the morning and evening, you can wear short sleeves in the sun at noon, drive back to the hotel in the evening, and it may be 3 degrees outside. I brought a down jacket this time, and my wife said I was exaggerating. As a result, the next day at the root river, she said she was going to grab my one and wear it.Down jacket, fall pants, thick socks, must bring。

Second pit: Come on.From Hailar to Manchuria, there were not many places to refuel, several gas stations were private, and the oil gun jumped quickly. I recommend filling up the oil in the urban area of Hailar, adding it again in Manchuria, and adding it at the small station in the middle. In addition, some small gas stations may close in October because of the cold weather and the lack of cars. Don’t expect to add gas halfway.

The third pit: eating.Don’t go to the “Mongolian camp” at the entrance of the scenic spot. A handful of meat dares to ask you for 168, which is not necessarily fresh. The really good little shops are all in town, the doors are broken, but there are a lot of locals. You see which restaurant is full of Northeastern/Inner Mongolian speakers, go straight in, it must be true. We ate a leeb dipped in jam at Enhe this time, 15 yuan a basket, now grilled, ten times more delicious than Leeba on Central Street in Harbin.

Fourth pit: Take a picture.The grasslands in October are only sunrise at 8am and dark at 5pm. If you want to photograph the Golden Prairie, the light is the best from 3 to 5 in the afternoon. This time, I took a group shot on the Mozigrad River and sent it to the circle of friends. Two dozen people asked me where it was. The phone can’t capture the sense of layering. If you have a camera, you must wear it. If you don’t have a camera, you can use the professional mode of the phone. The ISO is set to 100, and the white balance is set to about 5500K. The color can be warmed up a little.

Approximate cost, calculate your account

I spent 5 days and 4 nights this time, two people in one car, a total of$4,200, take it apart for you:

• Car Rental: SUV 280 a day, 5 days 1400 (October is low season, half cheaper than summer)
• Fuel: I ran 1,100 kilometers, about 800 yuan.
• Accommodation: 4 nights, average 280 nights, 1120 (wood carved leng and small hotel, don’t stay in the big hotel in the city)
• Meals: about 600 for 5 days (handled meat, roasted lamb legs, leeba, milk tea, two people)
• Admission: Wetland 70 × 2 + Birch Forest Scenic Area 55 × 2 = 250 (other wild scenic spots do not cost money)
• Miscellaneous: I bought some beef jerky, dairy products, about 300

Walking this line in the summer, the two of them can go up at least 8,000, saving half in October, and there are few people, so there is no need to queue for photos. Personally, I thinkMid-October was the best value for money in Hulunbuir, the grass will start snowing a week later.

One last word, honestly.

I have been traveling for so many years. I have seen too many people come here and made a whole strategy. After arriving, I followed the clock. As a result, I stayed in one place for half an hour and left, but I did not taste it at all.Hulunbeier, you have to slow down.. Find a place where there is no one on the roadside, stop the car, sit in the sun for half an hour, listen to the sound of the wind blowing from the grass, stronger than you catch 10 attractions.

When I lived with that woodcut this year, I had nothing to do at night. The boss pulled us for two drinks and said that there were more people coming this year than last year, but less than one in ten guests who could sit down and were willing to talk to the locals. Everyone was busy taking photos and sending circles of friends, then leaving. In fact, you can’t remember the scenery, but the section where you talked to the boss, the group of horses that suddenly sprang out from the roadside, and the Milky Way that you looked up at night. You can’t forget these things for a few years when you come back.

All right, no more bullshit. If you want to come to the wrong peak after National Day,October 10th to October 25thThis half-month was a golden window, the grass was still yellow, the leaves had not yet fallen out, there were few people, and the price was cheap.
