High school entrance examination English grammar problems account for a lot of points, and directly affect writing and reading. This carding combed through the eight major tenses, passive voice, three major clauses, and frequent test sentences. The complete version of Word can be printed and reviewed.
Many students find English grammar boring and can’t remember it. In fact, grammar is systematic. The grammar of the high school entrance examination examines just those few sections: tense, voice, clause, non-predicate, sentence structure. As long as the frame is set up, it will be much easier to fill in the details.
1. Tense is the top priority
In the mid-term examination, there are tense questions in almost every single and complete essay. Judge the tense in three steps: ① Look at the temporal adverb (yesterday used in the past, tomorrow used in the future, now used in progress, already/just used to complete); ② Look at the context; ③ Fixed collocation (since + past time point used to complete).
2. Don’t rote the passive voice
There is only one passive voice formula: be + past participle. What changed was the tense of the be. When doing the question, first determine whether to be active or passive (if the subject is the receiver of the action, use passive), and then choose the correct tense of be.
III. Clause view of conjunctions
The attributive clause looks at the antecedent (person/object); the objective clause looks at the word order and tense (statement order + master-subordinate); and the adverbial clause looks at the logical relationship (time/condition/reason/concession). Remember “one core rule” for each clause and you won’t get mixed up.
IV. Writing plus sentence patterns
If you want to get a high score in writing, use clauses and fixed sentences: It’s important for us to…, Not only… but also…, The reason why… is that…. One article is used for two or three, and the scrolling teacher can immediately see the level.
You are systematizing your grammar review. This Word version of the summary suggests that you print it out and have a section every day to cooperate with the test effect of the real question.
