At the end of the year, the job description is the annual examination of people in the workplace: it is well written, and a year’s work is seen; it is not well written, and even if you do more, you will take it for nothing. This job orientation report template is constructed in four steps according to “Job Responsibilities – Work Performance – Problems – Next Year’s Plan” with a complete model document.
The difference between the induction report and the year-end summary: the summary is “accountable to oneself”, the induction is “report to leaders and colleagues”, and more emphasis is placed on the corresponding relationship between “job responsibilities – performance”.
I. Closely Adhering to Job Responsibilities
The job presentation should first clarify “what I do” (job responsibilities), then talk about “how I do” (performance), and finally talk about “how to do it next year”. Responsibilities and grades should be matched, do not write “irrelevant highlights”.
II. Achievements should be quantified and focused
Don’t list all the results, choose 3-5 representative key points: the number of tasks completed, the key problems solved, and the actual results. Data first: increase by 15%, complete 200 items, and serve 500 people.
3. The problem should be real and not concealed
The presentation can’t just be good news or worrying, but the problem should be written as “constructive”: point out deficiencies + give improvement measures, so that leaders can see your self-reflection and self-motivation.
IV. Language and Spacing
The assignment is generally 5-8 minutes (1500-2500 words); the oral assignment should be structured and divided into points; the format of the written assignment is standardized and the level is clear.
